PJB Speaker Cabinets
Phil Jones Bass produces a range of speaker cabinets that are designed to deliver high-quality sound and performance. The cabinets are made with Baltic birch plywood and are braced for extreme rigidity, which eliminates resonance and adds clarity to your sound. PJB’s huge emphasis on research and development ensures that no other cabinets sound like a PJB cabinet. The cabinets are precisely tuned using multiple loudspeaker analysis programs to reduce cone movement at the lowest frequencies and to increase low-frequency output. PJB employs a full-size anechoic chamber for acoustic measurements and a laser scanning Doppler interferometer to analyze cone movement in 3D across the whole audio spectrum. The PJB speaker cabinets come in a variety of models, each with its own unique features and specifications. For example, the CAB-27 is a 200-watt cabinet, while the CAB-67 is a 500-watt cabinet1. The C2 is a 200-watt cabinet, while the C4 is a 400-watt cabinet and the C8 is an 800-watt cabinet.
